A wild Kubicki bass in for a setup. A few high frets up the neck needed to be tapped back down and the output jack rewired to improve the connections.
How about this bridge? It's not the best for fine tuning the action as you can olnly rotate the saddles in 180° increments. But the "water wheel" tuners are pretty unique. I always have to think a little harder when the tuners aren't up on the headstock.

A beautiful gold top Les Paul Classic in for a good pot cleaning. Scratchiness be gone!
A reissue '52 Tele in for some noise issues. A few ground solder joints needed to be touched up along with cleaning out the pots with some contact cleaner. Back in business.
Here's the jackknifed Rickenbacker that showed up to the shop in this condition. After the glue up, I ended up filling in the missing finish and buffed it out so the repair wouldn't be detectable by feel. The player was not concerned with cosmetics, only playability.
What should have been a straight forward setup was complicated by the undersaddle pickup design. This Ovation's saddle is machined into the pickup so I could not just remove material off the bottom like usual. The material had to be removed from the top of the saddle in order to lower the action. Ideally I would have liked to disconnect the pickup and re-profile the top of the saddle but that would have taken longer than the time allotted to this while-you-wait setup (she had an upcoming gig). The saddle is made of a softer synthetic material with significant string bite so I treated it like a nut and filed the grooves deeper.
