Repairing removable sides :: 1999 Luthier Music Corp TRVL01 travel classical

Let's see how this goes. Here's a travel classical with removable sides and the tabs have been repaired numerous times in the past.  I made two cauls out of InstaMorph, along with fiberglass and mahogany veneers to sandwich the tabs. The trick will be pulling this off somewhat cleanly as I'm using epoxy. If this turns out well, I get to repeat this three more times.

This beautiful "Bullion Gold" Thunderbird bass stopped by the shop today for a quick action tweak.  The Thunderbird bass was introduced in 1963, hence this 2013 "50th Anniversary" model.

This archtop dropped by the shop this afternoon for a quick setup.  I wish I could have spent a little more time with this one.  Beauty of a guitar.

I'm a huge fan of vintage Guilds so it's always exciting to have one in the shop.  This mahogany dreadnought is in great shape for being 43 years old.  The setup included adjusting the truss rod, saddle and nut.  The frets are extremely low and uncrowned, but it plays surprisingly well.

This came in for a fret level and a new customer-supplied TUSQ nut to be fit and installed.  The serial number on this rare Emerald green Tele dates it to 1978, but the date stamp on the heel of the neck dates it to 1982.
