Up on the roof :: Chubbuck Rogue 005 & Kalliope 001

Not technically "on the bench" ... I jumped up on the roof to get a few photos of the new builds. I caught the tail end of the sunset and wanted to try again, but didn't have the chance before the Kalliope (right) shipped out last month. The Rogue (on the left) is available to demo in person here at the ship. Please contact me if interested. I have been enjoying hearing a variety of players and styles come through and play it for me. Neck Glue-up :: Chubbuck Kalliope 001

Finally getting some build time mixed in with my crazy repair schedule. I can't wait to get this new model strung up along with Rogue 005. Next up will be bridges. Man, I love building guitars and hope to figure out a better compromise of builds to repairs in my work flow.

Guitar homecoming! :: 2011 Chubbuck Rogue 004 [4.5 lbs]

Wow, it's super cool to have one of my guitars back in the shop! I love seeing how they hold up in the real world. This came in for a bridge re-glue and I ended up repairing a small hairline crack in the back as well. I love how it's voice has opened up and the finish is wearing very nicely. Signs of wear are always good as it shows the guitar is being played. This will be heading back to it's home down in the sweet sunny south.
