A custom shop 2012 Gibson ES-359 in for a fret level and an odd top crack.  This is the main guitar for Caton Sollenberger of The Jauntee.  He is heading out on the road starting from Worcester, MA at the end of the month.  The band will be kicking off their fall east coast southern tour.

A really odd crack for a laminate top.  This top's outer maple veneer has split and lifted around the bridge pickup rout.  I cleaned out the dirt and fit a splint into the crack along with re-gluing the separated veneer.  It won't be a pretty repair, but it should keep the crack from spreading.

The bridge was removed, refit and re-glued with hot hide glue.  Before refitting the bridge, a top center seam crack was reinforced and splinted.

This classical has a nasty crack in the top that runs along the bass side of the fingerboard clean into the sound hole.  The crack had loosened the fingerboard brace so that was addressed first.  Two cleats were then fit and glued to support the break (one along the fingerboard, one just inside the sound hole).  This crack was far too open to just glue up (even with humidifying), so a thin spruce splint was fit, glued and trimmed into the crack with a minor color touch up to better match the top.

This nasty fingerboard extension crack took out the fingerboard brace in it's wake.  Here the brace is being re-glued before fitting and gluing in two reinforcement cleats.
