Troy VanLeeuwen of Queens of the Stone Age signature Jazzmaster in for a setup. The bridge pickup is a Curtis Novak. I really dig the vibe of this JM. Yet another guitar that was "play tested" quite a bit before it left the shop.

A brand spanking new Geddy Lee signature Jazz Bass in for some tweaks. This has Fender's "Channel Bound" fingerboard, which is where they inlay the fingerboard into the neck. It's pretty slick! My only issue would be replacing the nut on this one. The nut is also inlaid into the neck with the fingerboard binding capturing the ends and sealed under the finish. I'm not trying to be a pessimist, only analyzing the ease of a common repair requiring a complicated procedure. That being said, this a great J bass!

A Martin Eric Clapton signature model in for a basic setup adjustment. The player even supplied Eric Clapton's signature Martin phosphor bronze strings (Martin #MEC12)! I took these photos before the owner stopped by and we decided to replace the stock plastic pins for bone. Check the video below from the daily vlog for the initial setup.

An early 90's SRV signature Stratocaster in for a setup. A few of the nut slots were too low and needed to be filled and recut. Ideally I do not like to fill nut slots as the fill can cause minor tuning issues. Filling can save the customer some cash though in a pinch and the nut can always be replaced if so desired down the road.
I found a few high fret ends that were causing bends up on the neck to choke out. A couple taps with the hammer helped re-seat these frets.
