2004 Blueridge BR-60 [4.2 lbs] :: setup

I am always impressed by these import Blueridge dreadnoughts.  This is going to be a gift to a customer's son so he wanted me to look it over.  I ended up shimming up the saddle, refitting the uneven plastic bridge pins and replaced the missing end pin.

This guy was finally picked up after 2 years (!).  I reglued the bridge, repaired a split in the headstock and glued up a loose tailblock-to-top seam.  There was also a loose top brace and the undersaddle pickup was humming so it needed to be replaced.

2006 Tacoma RM6C :: bridge pin abuse.

Someone did a number on these mutilated plastic bridge pins.  They look like they were pounded in with a hammer and removed with Vise-Grips.  There is no relief underneath the pin heads making string changes a chore.  Time for new bone pins.  The bridge pin holes will also be properly countersunk to ease in future removal.
