Here is the final assembly on Mousa 003 which involves installing the pickups, wiring harness, tailpiece and bridge. Stay tuned for a demo video of this guitar in action in the near future.

It's alive! Finally!!! The Chubbuck Mousa 003 was finished up this week and the new owner is in the early stages of breaking it in. I am extremely happy with how this one came out - sounds amazing for only being a couple days old. This site will soon be updated with more studio photos, details, etc so check back in at chubbuckguitars.com/hollowbody/mousa003. I'm also working on putting together some demo videos so you can hear it for yourself. In the meantime, check out the video below to be hypnotized!
Time to fabricate the tailpiece for Mousa 003. Here I'm bending brass for the backbone of the tailpiece. Now that it is bent I will move on to mating it to the Macassar ebony portion. Check the video from the daily vlog to see how this vise mounted brake works.
Mousa 003 is getting close! After buffing out the finish, I pulled the fingerboard masking to level and dress the frets. Next up is finishing up the tailpiece before starting assembly ...
