The bridge was peeling away from the top, so it was removed, refit and re-glued with hot hide glue. A small back crack running from the neck block to the first brace was also repaired.

2006 Tacoma RM6C [4.6 lbs] :: bridge pins & setup.
The original plastic bridge pins were mangled and needed to be replaced. I had to use oversize ebony bridge pins to fit properly as the replacement bone pins I had were too small. Once the new pins were fit, the guitar was set up for open E [EBEG#BE].
2006 Tacoma RM6C :: bridge pin abuse.
Someone did a number on these mutilated plastic bridge pins. They look like they were pounded in with a hammer and removed with Vise-Grips. There is no relief underneath the pin heads making string changes a chore. Time for new bone pins. The bridge pin holes will also be properly countersunk to ease in future removal.
