Back crack repairs :: Breedlove AD25/SM

Late night clamp party on the airline damaged Breedlove. The back and sides in this area are connected again, so moving onto this back crack and loose brace. The feeler-gauge-on-a-stick was used to get glue under the brace and clamped with a brace jack inside. The suction cup helped work glue into the crack. Finally plexiglas and clamps to close and hold everything together.

Blown Up Sides :: Breedlove AD25/SM

This family heirloom was damaged on an international flight that crushed the guitar across the lower bout.  The sides are broken free from the back through the linings in two places.  The back also has multiple loose braces and cracks that will be addressed once the sides are re-secured.  Part of the damage can be seen below.

2014 Martin Custom X Series D :: high pressure laminate explosion

This X series Martin Dreadnought has high pressure laminate (HPL, Formica, etc) back and sides.  The guitar slipped off of a strap and fell onto a hardwood floor.  The back broke loose from the treble side (neck-to-tail block) through the linings.  The first back brace was also split on the bass side.  Here everything is being glued back together with a combination of spool clamps, cam clamps, scissor jack and brace jack.  Luckily this was not solid mahogany, else the damage would have been much worse.
